Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offenders Warrant Squad today (March 5, 2018) arrested two individuals, including a 15-year-old juvenile, in unrelated robbery and battery incidents.

Officers arrested a 15-year-odld juvenile (DOB: 10-22-2002) in a robbery incident that occurred in the 700 block of Barracks Street on January 26, 2018.

The victim told officers that he was in the area when a group of juveniles on bicycles surrounded him. The victim said he was then struck in the back of the head and fell to the ground, at which time the juveniles encircled him and repeatedly punched and kicked him. During the reported attack, one of the juveniles allegedly took the victim’s cell phone before the juveniles fled the scene.
