NOPD VOWS Officers Arrest Juvenile in Aggravated Battery by Cutting on Tulane Avenue

Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offenders Warrant Squad arrested a juvenile (DOB: 08/27/04) on Wednesday in connection with an aggravated battery by cutting that occurred on February 20, 2018 in the 2000 block of Tulane Avenue. 

The victim reportedly asked the subject to get up so he can make the bed. When subject refused, the victim then picked up the subject from the bed in order to make the bed. At that time, the juvenile was enraged and relocated to the kitchen where he obtained a kitchen knife. The subject then stabbed the victim in his left shoulder.  

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
