NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Theft Incident on Ursuline Avenue

First District officers are searching for a suspect who was captured on surveillance video removing packages from a residence located in the 1800 block of Ursuline Avenue.

The incident happened on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. The victim received an alert from her surveillance alarm informing her of movement on the front porch of her residence. At or about 2:52 p.m. an unknown female approached the victim’s residence, opened the package and removed the items from inside of the box. The suspect fled the location heading southbound on Ursuline Avenue.

The suspect is described as an older female wearing a short pink dress, white shoes and a short haircut.
