NOPD Searches for Suspect Involved in Theft Incident

The NOPD Sixth District officers are seeking to identify and locate the above pictured subject who is wanted for a package theft incident that occurred in the 1200 block of St. Mary Street.

The incident happened on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at or about 7:57 p.m. The wanted subject approached the victim’s residence and removed several packages from the victim’s front porch, leaving behind one of the larger boxes. The suspect placed the packages into a bag before fleeing the location on a bicycle.

In a separate incident that occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at or about 12:08 a.m., the same perpetrator returned to the location and removed the remaining packages from the porch and placed them into a large bag.

The victim told police they were out of town when the packages were delivered.

The perpetrator is described as a white or Hispanic male, dark colored hair, a full beard, medium to heavy build, wearing a camouflage print bucket hat and a backpack.
