NOPD Searches for Subject in Fourth District Armed Robbery

NOPD Searches for Subject in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is searching for a subject in connection with a Fourth District armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery.

 

On March 14, 2018, a local business was closing in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

 

Around 8 p.m., an unknown subject approached the business armed with a handgun. The subject demanded money from business and fled the location on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

 

On March 21, 2018 at 8:07 p.m., the same local business, was again closing in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

 

The employees of the business observed the same subject walking on Morgan Street toward their location.

 

They were able to lock all doors and windows to the location and kept the subject from entering.

 

The subject was armed with a handgun but was unable to take any property from the business. He then fled the scene on foot.

 

The subject is described as a black male with a thin build and possibly with a very thin beard.

 

He stands about five feet seven to five feet eight inches tall, between 20 and 30 years old.

 

The subject was last seen wearing a multi colored hat (black, red, yellow), a black or dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black or dark blue jean pants, and black and white shoes.

 

The subject was also wearing a bright orange or red backpack.

He was armed with a small revolver handgun.
