The NOPD arrested two suspects on drug and weapons charges in the Fourth District.
On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Fourth District Narcotics Detectives concluded a narcotics investigation into a location in the 3300 block of Pittari Place.
Fourth District Narcotics Detectives assisted by the NOPD’s Special Operation Division served a search warrant on the location.
The warrant yielded the following:
- 3 handguns (fully loaded .38 Caliber Revolver, fully loaded .25 Caliber Semi-automatic, fully loaded 9mm Semi-automatic
- 3 Bags of marijuana
- 2 Digital scales
- $1,100 in cash
- (100) .38 special rounds
Lovel Johnson (B/M DOB: 8-17-1971) and Latosha Celestine (B/F/ DOB: 8-28-1975) were arrested and charged with convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal narcotics, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
