NOPD Arrests Two Fourth District Subjects on Drug, Weapons Charges

The NOPD arrested two suspects on drug and weapons charges in the Fourth District.

 

On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Fourth District Narcotics Detectives concluded a narcotics investigation into a location in the 3300 block of Pittari Place.

 

Fourth District Narcotics Detectives assisted by the NOPD’s Special Operation Division served a search warrant on the location.

 

The warrant yielded the following:

 

  • 3 handguns (fully loaded .38 Caliber Revolver, fully loaded .25 Caliber Semi-automatic, fully loaded 9mm Semi-automatic
  • 3 Bags of marijuana
  • 2 Digital scales
  • $1,100 in cash
  • (100) .38 special rounds

 

Lovel Johnson (B/M DOB: 8-17-1971) and Latosha Celestine (B/F/ DOB: 8-28-1975) were arrested and charged with convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal narcotics, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
