VOWS Unit Arrests Three

The Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and U.S. Marshals arrested three individuals for major offenses within the past 24 hours, including:

 

Howard Nolan, Jr. (DOB: 11/15/1959) for first degree rape. Howard was apprehended in the 1900 block of Foucher Street  and the incident took place at the Intersection of Danneel Street and Foucher Street on August 30, 2016.

  

Ragan Preatto (DOB: 3/9/78) for second degree rape. The incident occurred in the 6300 block of Woodland Highway on February 20, 2017, and Preatto was arrested at the same location today. 

 

Wynola Clanton (DOB: 3/15/88) for aggravated battery. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Third Street on February 19, 2017. Clanton was apprehended today in the 4400 block of Cessna Court.

The Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) is responsible for tracking down individuals who are wanted for serious crimes and apprehending suspects with outstanding warrants. This unit operates within the NOPD’s Special Operations Division and works in conjunction with the United States Marshals Office Fugitive Task Force. In 2016 the unit was responsible from more than 500 arrests.
