Here is a list of the major arrests made by the New Orleans Police Department and the Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) from March 13-17, 2017.

March 13

Ferniqua Johnson (DOB:  5/21/91) for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident took place in the 5400 block of Burgundy Street on March 9, 2017.

Hitchai Bryant (DOB:  6/5/76) for two counts of aggravated battery and simple assault for an incident in the 2200 block of Touro Street on March 8, 2017.

Darilyn Brousseau (DOB: 11/17/81) for aggravated battery by cutting. She was apprehended for an incident that occurred in the 4500 block of Annette Street on February 24, 2017.

Lisa Alexander (DOB: 2/4/71) for child desertion and a parole violation for theft. The incident took place in the 2900 block of Upperline.

March 14

Chris Hughes (DOB: 2-2-1999) for attempted homicide on October 9, 2016.

Kenneth Alphonse (DOB: 09-09-1998) for burglary in the 10000 block of Curran Boulevard.

Derrick Cobbins (DOB: 06-09-1999) for burglary in the 10000 block of Curran Boulevard.

Dontrell Allen (DOB: 4/6/91) for aggravated battery by cutting. The incident occurred at the intersection of Toulouse Street and Burgundy Street on March 12, 2017.

March 15

Donald Hayes (DOB: 10/09/1980) in connection with a shooting that took place in the 5700 block of North Prieur last week.

Joshua Lee (DOB: 11/1/1984) for aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident occurred in the 6800 block of Tara Lane on September 22, 2015.

Teyantha Boyd (DOB: 2/22/1977) for armed robbery and aggravated assault.  The incident occurred in the 5700 block of Crowder Boulevard on January 10, 2017.

Jerome Johnson (DOB: 1/25/64) for attempted murder, armed robbery and theft of a motor vehicle in the 4000 block of Tulane Avenue. He was wanted by the Hammond (LA) Police Department.

Michael Williams (DOB: 9-8-1994) for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

March 16

Howard King (DOB: 7/20/1984) for sexual battery. The incident occurred at 400 Park Boulevard on January 8, 2017.

Iben Oneal (DOB: 11-25-1974) possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of cocaine, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.

March 17

Butler Synder (DOB: 2/29/1960) for armed robbery and simple criminal damage to property. The incident occurred on March 12, 2017, in the 3900 block of Cambronne Street.

Donlanda Lafrance (DOB: 7/28/94), for aggravated battery, aggravated assault and resisting an officer. The incident occurred at Morrison Road and I-10 Service Road on March 10, 2017.

Kristina Medina (DOB: 1/11/1979) for aggravated battery by cutting. The incident occurred on at Canal and Royal on March 17, 2017.
