NOPD Second District Lt. Jennifer Dupree and Det. Michael DiMarco were among the large number of officers patrolling in the area of South Carrollton Avenue and Orleans Avenue during the Krewe of Endymion Mardi Gras parade on Feb. 25.
The two describe their experiences in responding to the scene when a suspected drunk driver crashed his vehicle into the crowd, injuring numerous paradegoers.
