NOPD Makes Arrest and Takes Narcotics, Gun off the Street

The NOPD has arrested Iben Oneal (DOB: 11-25-1974) for multiple gun and drug charges.

 

On March 16, 2017, Seventh District officers arrived at a location in the 12000 block of North I-10 Service Road and found an unknown male slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. During the course of the investigation they learned the man’s license was suspended and he had a parole violation. 

 

Oneal was placed under arrest and officers searched him, finding 83 individually packaged bags of a brown powder-like substance, two plastic bags that contained a white powder-like substance and a small clear plastic bag with a brown substance. Officers also found additional narcotics and a Glock 32 handgun.

 

Oneal was charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of cocaine, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.
