The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 4600 block of Rhodes Drive in the Seventh District.
Shortly before 2 a.m. this morning (Mar. 2), NOPD officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Rhodes and Ransom Street. They discovered an unknown male lying in the carport area of a residence in the 4600 block of Rhodes. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS was called but the victim died at the scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office releases the names of victims and the official cause of death.
