NOPD Arrests Suspect for Attempted Homicide on Parc Brittany

The NOPD has arrested Chris Hughes (DOB: 2-2-1999) for an attempted homicide on October 9, 2016. 

 

The victim reported that he was walking in the 5700 block of Parc Brittany Boulevard at approximately 8:50 p.m. with two other individuals when he heard gunshots. The victim began to run northbound on Parc Brittany before realizing he had been shot in the back of the head.

 

During the course of the investigation, Hughes was developed as a suspect and positively identified by the victim as the person responsible for shooting him. He was arrested on March 13, 2017, by Fourth District officers after a brief chase.
