Juvenile Arrested for Multiple Offenses, Possession of  Firearm, Stolen Vehicle

Officers in the Seventh District have arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male for aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal possession of a handgun.

The incident happened on May 26, 2018. At about 11 a.m., Seventh District officers were called to investigate an aggravated assault in the 14000 block of Curran Boulevard. Once on scene, officers learned from the victim that a juvenile perpetrator allegedly shot at the victim with an assault rifle.

Through the course of the investigation, officers identified the juvenile and the U.S. Marshal’s Office apprehended the juvenile during a wanted check at his residence on Bass Street on June 6. During execution of the search warrant, the pictured items were recovered from the location along with a 2002 Toyota Highlander SUV, which was reported stolen earlier that day.

The juvenile was additionally arrested in connection with three separate incidents including aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal possession of marijuana and stolen property.

The suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center, where he was booked accordingly.
