The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating two persons of interest in connection with a homicide by shooting.
On May 24, 2023, Seventh District officers were called to a shooting in the 7000 block of Martin Drive. Upon arrival they found a adult male who was later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner as 24-year-old Wendale Harvey suffering from gunshot wound(s).
Harvey was transported to the hospital by EMS where he was later declared deceased.
Through investigation, detectives identified Frederick Stalbert (Black male, DOB: 09-10-1992), and Kenyonica Green (Black female DOB: 08-22-1995) as persons of interest in this investigation.
These subjects are NOT wanted in this incident, but investigators think they may have information pertinent to the investigation.
