On June 11, 2023, the NOPD arrested Joshua Daigle (white male, DOB: 05-10-1972) in the investigation of two vehicle burglary incidents in the Eighth District.
At about noon on June 11, NOPD Eighth District officers responded to a report of vehicle burglary in progress in the 700 block of Baronne Street. Upon arrival, officers located the suspected perpetrator in the incident and placed him under arrest. The subject, later identified as Daigle, was also determined to be the perpetrator of a vehicle burglary that occurred at about 4:00 a.m. on June 11 in the 600 block of Julia Street. Daigle was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on three counts of simple burglary and one count of illegal possession of stolen things.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
