New Orleans - The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a subject involved in a theft incident that occurred on June 16, 2020.
At around 6:40 p.m., an unknown subject rode a bicycle up to a home located in the 7800 block of Freret Street. Surveillance video captured the subject walking onto the front steps of the home where the victim left her purse unattended while checking on an apartment downstairs. The subject removed the victim’s red Apple I-phone 11, and other items from her purse. The subject fled the scene on his bicycle in an unknown direction.
