NOPD Locates Person of Interest in Fifth District Shooting

UPDATE: Erinn Alexander has been located. Investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing.

 

ORIGINAL RELEASE: The NOPD is seeking to question Erinn Alexander (DOB: 09-16-1986), an individual identified as a person of interest in the investigation of a shooting that occurred in the 1600 block of North Claiborne Avenue on April 18, 2019.

In the incident, the victims were located at Hunter’s Field Park in the 1600 block of North Claiborne Avenue when two unknown males allegedly approached with handguns. The suspects reportedly fired several times, striking both victims. After the victims fled on foot, the suspects allegedly entered the victims’ vehicle for an unknown reason and then fled on foot.

It is believed that Alexander (pictured) has pertinent knowledge of the suspects in this incident. Alexander is not wanted in connection with this incident at this time.
