Two Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery on Marigny

The NOPD is looking for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Marigny Street.

 

The three female victims reported that on June 5, 2017, at approximately 12:06 a.m., they were walking in the 1200 block of Marigny and were approached by an unknown black male. The suspect attempted to take one of the victims’ purses, but she resisted and struck the subject with her umbrella.

 

The subject then attempted to grab one of the other victim’s purses and a second unknown black male then fired a shot. The victim released her purse and the two suspects fled the scene in a gray four-door vehicle. 

 

Suspect #1 is described as being an 18-30 year old black male with a low haircut and a light complexion. He was clean shaven, 5’11” – 6’ tall with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt and dark colored jeans.

 

Suspect #2 is described as a black male armed with a .45 caliber handgun

 

The vehicle was described as a gray Pontiac G6 with Louisiana license plate number WXD 834.The car has a broken tail light on the passenger side.
