The NOPD is looking for Clayton “Mook” Shields (DOB: 8/28/1989) in connection with a stolen firearm.
On June 6, 2017, the victim discovered that his Glock 22 pistol was missing from his residence in the 4500 block of Shalimar Drive. He contacted Shields via telephone to ask about the firearm and the victim reported that Shields admitted to taking the gun and agreed to return it.
Shields later called the victim and stated he threw the firearm out of his vehicle during a traffic stop. The victim relocated to the area indicated by the subject and attempted to find his gun but he was unsuccessful.
