Persons of Interest Sought in Multiple Armed Robberies in Second District

Persons of Interest Sought in Multiple Armed Robberies in Second District

The NOPD is seeking assistance in speaking with two persons of interest concerning numerous armed robberies in the Second District that occurred between June 1 and June 4, 2017.

The two individuals are sought for questioning in regards to the following incidents:

• An armed carjacking that occurred on Thursday, June 1, at about 10:36 p.m. in the 4200 block of Walmsley Avenue.

• An armed robbery with a gun that occurred on June 3, 2017 at about 10:57 p.m. at the intersection of South Johnson and Upperline streets.

• An armed robbery with a gun that occurred on June 2 at about 11:40 pm in the 1700 block of Dante Street.

• An attempted armed robbery with a gun that occurred on June 3 at about 1:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of Broadway Street.

• An armed robbery with a gun that occurred on June 4 at about 12:20 a.m. in the 4300 block of State Street Drive.

In these incidents, the suspects reportedly approached the victims from a vehicle and robbed the victims of cell phones, electronics and, in some incidents, their vehicles.

Through the course of investigation, Second District detectives were able to identify six individuals connected to these incidents. Two adult males and two juvenile males have been arrested. The two remaining individuals are considered persons of interest and are not wanted at this time. Photos of each of the persons of interest are included with this release.
