NOPD needs the public’s assistance in locating John Collins (DOB: 6/18/67).
Collins is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm that took place in the 2500 block of Second Street on June 15, 2017. The victim reported that Collins approached her and showed her a gun, then began shouting profanities and threatened to the victim. She stated Collins then grabbed her by the hair and dragged her down the steps of the residence toward the street. He fled the location when the victim’s friend told Collins he was going to call the police.
