NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery

NOPD First District detectives are looking to identify and locate a subject in the above photo wanted for armed robbery.

The victim told police he was standing at the intersection of South Jeff Davis Parkway and Palmyra Street on June 9, 2017 at around 11:45 a.m., when he was approached by an unknown black male who asked for a dollar. The victim told police he gave the subject a dollar and relocated to the 3300 block of Palmyra Street to be near his coworker.

The victim then told police the subject returned, pulled out an automatic handgun and ordered the victim and his co worker to the ground.  The subject then took money, two sets of keys and phones from both of their pockets.
