NOPD Investigates a Murder on Odeon Street

NOPD Investigates a Murder on Odeon Street

The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of an unidentified man in his late teens to early twenties. The incident was reported last night, June 25, 2017, around 10:33 p.m., in the 1200 block of Odeon Street.

Officers were called out to investigate a call of shots fired, soon after the called was changed to a man shot outside a residence on Odeon Street. Upon arrival officers found the unresponsive victim lying face up on the front lawn of a residence suffering from gunshot wound(s) to the body.  The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. 

The investigation is on-going and detectives are investigating to determine a motive and a suspect(s) in the incident.
