Members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Homicide Section are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 20-year-old Devyn Spikes as a person of interest in connection with the Homicide that occurred on Friday July 7, 2023, at the intersection of Middleboro Road and Salem Drive.
According to investigators, Seventh District officers responded to a shooting, and upon their arrival, officers located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his body.
Emergency Medical Technicians pronounced the victim dead on scene.
Throughout the course of the investigation Homicide detectives developed Spikes as a person of interest. Spikes is not currently wanted; however, detectives believe that Spikes may have information vital to this case and wish to speak to him.
