The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle and suspects involved in the ongoing investigation of a shooting in the Fifth District yesterday (July 30, 2023).
At about 5:15pm, a black-colored vehicle drove up to the 1800 block of Industry Street.
Two subjects opened the front and rear passenger side doors and opened fire on people that were sitting on the front porch of a residence.
Two females were injured: a 36-year old black female and a 76-year old black female. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and they were transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspects fled east on Industry Street in a black Honda (pictured), possibly a CRV model.
