NOPD Seeking Person of Interest, Vehicle in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a vehicle believed to be involved in the commission of a homicide on May 22, 2022, at the intersection of Saint Anthony and Urquhart streets, as well as in locating a person of interest for questioning.

The pictured silver Jeep Liberty, believed to be a 2002-2007 year model, is believed to have been used by the perpetrator(s) in this incident. The vehicle is described as having a teal turtle sticker with a peace sign on the rear window, broken roof antenna, black roof rack and Wrangler spare tire with white lettering and a rusted rim.

Additionally, detectives are seeking to locate Kristopher Lewis (pictured, black male, DOB: 10-27-1992, aka “Buddy”) for questioning as a person of interest in this investigation. Lewis is not currently wanted on criminal charges regarding this case. However, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him.
