The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect wanted for multiple offenses in the Eighth District during the overnight and early morning hours on July 16, 2020.

At approximately 12:21 a.m., the pictured subject was seen on surveillance footage committing an auto burglary in the 700 block of North Rampart Street. The subject was seen removing a suitcase and miscellaneous items from the interior of an unlocked Mercedes Benz at the location. At the time of this incident, the subject was wearing the yellow shirt pictured.

On this same day at approximately 3:39 a.m., the same subject forcefully gained entry into an apartment complex located in the 500 block of Baronne Street. The subject, wearing the pictured yellow shirt, removed a package from the mail area, opening it to remove a gray shirt from the package and then put on the shirt, leaving the yellow shirt at the scene, before being removed by building security staff.

Later in the morning, at approximately 4:10 a.m., the subject made entry into an unlocked brown 2014 GMC Sierra truck bearing Louisiana license plate C572918 parked in the 800 block of Gravier Street. The subject located a set of keys left inside of the vehicle, used the keys to start the vehicle and fled the scene southbound.
