NOPD officers have obtained an arrest warrant for Jerome Jones (DOB: 02/19/1990), who is wanted for illegal discharge of a firearm and aggravated criminal damage in the Seventh District.
On May 20, 2019 around 2:00 am, Jones was reportedly involved in a shooting incident with a group of males in the 5700 block of Crowder Boulevard. The subject sustained gunshot wounds and several vehicles were damaged by gunfire.
During the investigation, detectives reviewed video footage of the incident which revealed Jones approached a group of males and began firing gunshots on the group of males first. Video footage confirmed Jones initiated the shooting incident.
