NOPD Searches for Perpetrator of Seventh District Double Homicide

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted for a double homicide that occurred in the Seventh District.

The incident was captured on security camera video and can be seen here(Warning: Graphic content contained in the linked video.)

On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, around 2:21 pm, a double homicide occurred at the intersection of Downman and Dwyer roads. The perpetrator is seen arriving on scene in a silver older model F-150 extended cab with dark tinted windows. The perpetrator exits the vehicle and fires multiple rounds into the victim 1’s vehicle, striking the subject.

Approximately three to four minutes later, shown in the linked video, the second victim arrives at the scene to check on the status of the first victim. The perpetrator returned to the scene in the same vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the second victim. The perpetrator then fled the scene.
