Suspect Identified in Assault Incident on Curran Boulevard

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Derondice Reese (DOB: 08-17-1994) in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm and simple assault incident that occurred on July 25, 2018 in the 13000 block of Curran Boulevard.

The victim told police that at about 7 a.m., she had arrived at her sister’s residence in the 13000 block of Curran Boulevard via automobile, using the vehicle horn to notify her sister of her arrival. At that time, a male subject later positively identified as Reese reportedly exited his residence and produced a handgun, allegedly making several threats toward the victim regarding using the car horn.

NOPD Seventh District detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Reese for aggravated assault with a firearm and simple assault.
