Suspect Arrested in Aggravated Assault on Old Gentilly Road

The NOPD has arrested Zandrina Holloway (DOB: 04-25-1986) in connection with a domestic aggravated assault incident that occurred on July 8, 2018 in the 7900 block of Old Gentilly Road.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., the victim was at his father’s residence reportedly involved in a physical altercation with a female subject described as his girlfriend, at his father’s residence in the 7900 block of Old Gentilly Road. At that time the victim fled the location, only to return and engage in a physical altercation with his father, concerning the victim’s fighting with his girlfriend at his father’s residence. The victim left the location a second time and was later apprehended at a residence in the 7900 block of Tulsa Street, where he was arrested for two counts of simple battery domestic.

During the ongoing investigation, officers learned that prior to their arrival to the Tulsa Street location, Holloway allegedly drove to the location prior to officers’ arrival and threatened the victim with a handgun before leaving the location.

A search warrant was conducted at the Old Gentilly Road location, where detectives located the firearm allegedly used in the aggravated assault. Holloway, who was at the location at the time of the warrant execution, was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for one count of domestic aggravated assault with a firearm.
