Officers in the Seventh District have arrested Leonard Martin (DOB: 10/05/89) for home invasion, criminal damage to property and domestic battery.
The incident happened on July 23, 2018. Martin reportedly broke into the victim’s residence through the bedroom window in the 13000 of Linden Street. He then attacked the victim striking her in the face before striking her with the handle of a mop to her body. As the victim attempted to call the police, Martin broke the victim’s cell phone.
He was apprehended by officers without incident and booked accordingly.
