Pair Arrested for Aggravated Assault on Morrison & Bundy Road

Officers in the Seventh District have arrested Robert Moody Jr. (DOB: 10/23/96) and a 14-year- old juvenile for an aggravated assault incident that occurred on July 6, 2018. 

At around 9:35 p.m., the two male subjects allegedly confronted the victims near the intersection of Bundy Road and Morrison Road. Moody Jr. then reportedly requested the handgun, which was allegedly being held by a 14-year-old relative. Moody Jr. then reportedly took possession of the handgun and threatened the victims with the handgun.

Seventh District Officers located both suspects shortly after this incident took place and detained and arrested them. Moody was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. The juvenile was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for two counts of principle to aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
