The NOPD is looking for an unknown male suspect after he pointed a handgun and robbed a victim on Spain Street.
The incident happened on July 9, 2017. At about midnight, the victim was walking in the 1000 block of Spain Street when the suspect depicted in the photograph pointed a handgun at the victim and took possession of the victim’s duffel bag. The subject then fled from Spain Street onto Saint Claude and then made a right on Saint Roch.
The subject was described as being a black male, about 5’7'' tall and 160 pounds. The type of handgun used in the incident is unknown at this time.
