NOPD Identifies Suspect in Shooting on Ford Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kevin Foots (DOB: 04-02-1986) in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 13, 2017 in the 3900 block of Ford Street.

The victim told police that at about 12:12 a.m., he was travelling in a vehicle southbound in the area when he heard gunshots coming from a passing vehicle. The victim discovered he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his side and was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment.

As investigation into the incident progressed, Foots was developed as the perpetrator.

Foots is described as a black male standing about 5’11” and weighing about 160 pounds. He is believed to have been driving a black Jeep SUV with black tinted windows at the time of the incident.

When located, Foots will be arrested on a charge of attempted murder.
