The NOPD on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at around 1:40 p.m., arrested Armand Clavo (DOB: 05-26-1978) on gun and drug distribution charges.
On the date of the arrest, Seventh District officers conducted a traffic stop, subsequent to a narcotics investigation near the intersection of Bullard Avenue and North I 10 Service Road. During the investigation, the driver later identified as Clavo was detained. Further investigation found that Clavo was in possession of 38 grams of marijuana, $164 in cash and a Glock 27 semi-automatic handgun.
Clavo was arrested and booked into Central Lockup on charges of distribution of marijuana, and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of narcotics.
