NOPD Seventh District detectives are looking for Beaunca Caldwell (DOB: 7-13-1994) in connection with an aggravated assault and multiple outstanding warrants.
The victim reported that on July 8, 2017, Caldwell damaged the windows of her vehicle after a brief verbal argument in the 6800 block of Tara Lane. She stated that Caldwell returned a short time later and produced a black semi-automatic handgun, pointing it at the victim and threatening her. Caldwell then fled the scene but returned and attempted to strike the victim with two wooden sticks.
Caldwell is wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm, simple assault, and simple criminal damage, She has outstanding warrants for additional offenses including theft, simple criminal damage, resisting an officer, disturbing the peace, a court capias and multiple municipal attachments.
Caldwell is described as a black female, 5’4” tall and weighing 120 pounds.
