Vehicle Used in Armed Robberies Sought by NOPD

NOPD is looking for a vehicle that was used in a number of armed robberies.

 

An unknown perpetrator was observed robbing multiple victims at gunpoint. The suspect was seen stopping next to the victims, exiting a light brown Chevrolet extended cab, step-side pickup and robbing them at gunpoint.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
