The NOPD is searching for this man after he was seen on surveillance video grabbing a woman’s purse using his jacket.
The incident happened on January 13, 2017. At around 7:45 p.m., the victim was sitting at the bar in the 500 block of Canal Street when an unknown subject approached the bar. The suspect then placed his jacket over the victim’s purse and fled the location. At around 8:00 p.m., the victim discovered her purse missing and an unknown charge on her credit card.
