Suspect Identified in Burglary on Seine Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kevin Martin (DOB: 06-22-1993) in connection with a burglary that occurred on December 13, 2016 in the 3300 block of Seine Street.

The victim told police that an unknown black male had apparently entered her home through an unlocked window. Surveillance video from the home showed the male searching through two bedrooms in the residence when the home alarm sounded. The subject then fled the scene. No items were reported missing from the residence.

During investigation, detectives were able to develop Martin as the suspect in this incident.

Martin is additionally wanted in connection with allegedly pawning items reported stolen in a residence burglary in the 3500 block of Garden Oaks Drive on December 23, 2016.He also has several court capias  warrants, open items and probation violation warrants.

When located, Martin will be arrested and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling in this incident.
