Suspect Arrested for Armed Robbery on Tara Lane

The NOPD has arrested Rikeisha “Auriel” Moore (DOB:  8/13/1985) for an armed robbery in the 6800 block of Tara Lane.

 

The victim reported that on January 16, 2017, a female, later identified as Moore, requested he come to her location. She then enticed the victim to the rear of her apartment complex where he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown black males.

 

On January 17, 2017, Moore, who went by the street name of Auriel Riley, was positively identified by the victim as the female who set him up for the armed robbery.

 

Rikeisha Moore was arrested for principal to armed robbery and transported to Central Lockup where she was booked accordingly.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
