The NOPD is searching for two sisters reported missing from the 7700 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
The reporting person told police she observed her daughters, Mellisa Davila Escobar (DOB: 12-01-1999) and Rossio Davila Escobar (DOB: 08-04-2001), at home on January 28, 2017 at approximately 10:20 a.m. However at about 11:10 a.m., the mother discovered both of her daughters missing from their bedroom. The mother also observed her daughters bedroom window open. The mother advised police that her daughters were habitual runaways.
