Persons of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery on St. Philip Street

Persons of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery on St. Philip Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying two persons of interest in regards to an armed robbery that occurred on January 3, 2017 in the 1100 block of St. Philip Street.

The victim told police that at about 3:45 a.m., she and a male friend were sitting against a fence when two unknown black males approached them on foot. One of the individuals then allegedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victims, with the second suspect demanding and taking the victims’ belongings. Items reported stolen include a purse with an iPhone 6 Plus and various credit cards, as well as a wallet containing various credit cards. The individuals then fled the scene headed east on Henriette Delille Street.

The subject who produced the handgun was described as a dark-skinned black male approximately 20-25 years old, standing about 5’5” tall and wearing dark clothing.

The second subject was described as a black male approximately 20-25 years old standing about 5’5” tall with dreadlocks wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt

The pictured individuals are not currently wanted for any crime, but detectives are looking to speak with them regarding this incident.
