The NOPD is seeking to locate Edward Meaux (DOB: 3/29/1962) for information regarding a vehicle burglary that occurred in the 700 block of Girod Street.
The victim told police on January 24, 2017 at around 7:30 p.m., she left her rental vehicle in the area. The next day, at around 12 a.m., the victim observed the window smashed and her bag that was placed on the floor of the vehicle was missing.
Detectives believe Meaux may have information on this incident as well as several other similar incidents in the Eighth District. Meaux is known to frequent the Sixth District area near the U.S. 90 Expressway.
