The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect in a business burglary in the 7000 block of Read Lane on November 6, 2016.

At about 11:45 p.m., Seventh District officers responded to a burglar alarm at Eagle Family Dental, located at 7023 Read Lane. Upon arrival, officers noticed the front window of the business had been shattered. Officers entered the business and saw that the rear door had been opened. Officers also noticed two medication bottles on the floor and an interior surveillance camera had been knocked down. Two examination room cabinets had been ransacked, as well as desk drawers in parts of the office.

Upon investigating surveillance camera footage, officers saw an unidentified male unsuccessfully attempt to enter the building through the front door, at which time he shattered the front window with an object appearing to be a hammer. He then entered and rummaged through the building, before fleeing through the rear door. No items were reported missing from the business.
