The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted as a person of interest in an ongoing homicide investigation.
Issac Sabatier (pictured, black male DOB: 02-16-1984) is being sought in connection with a homicide by shooting that occurred on December 22, 2022, in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Sixth District officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired and when they arrived found a 46-year old man unresponsive. The victim was pronounced dead by EMS and was later identified by the Coroner as Corey Carter.
Investigators say Issac Sabatier is not wanted in this incident but is being sought for questioning as he may have information pertinent to the investigation.
