The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating two subjects and a vehicle wanted in connection with the attempted theft of cash from an ATM.
On January 12, 2024, two subjects, dressed in black, (pictured) attempted to pry open an ATM in the 5400 block of Tchoupitoulas Street.
The subjects were unsuccessful. They then attempted to pull the cash box out with a chain connected to a silver, single cab Chevrolet truck (pictured). The chain broke off the truck and the subjects then fled in the truck.
Anyone with information as to the identity off these two subjects, the truck or other information about this incident is asked to contact any Second District detective at (504) 658-6020 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.
