The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a subject wanted as a person of interest in a shooting investigation.
On November 14, 2023, an aggravated battery by shooting occurred in
the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue.
Through investigation, detectives determined that a black Mazda 6 was utilized by the perpetrator(s) and on December 26, 2023, the vehicle was recovered after having been privately towed.
Investigators believe the pictured subject, Juma Hill, black male DOB: 02/03/1977, may have information pertinent to the investigation. Detectives are seeking him as a person of interest in this investigation. Hill is not wanted for this crime.
