NOPD Seeking Suspect in Multiple Theft Investigations

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in multiple auto theft investigations in the 2300 block of Dumaine Street.

On December 12, 2023, at about 7:45 p.m., the victims were participating in a recreational soccer match when the above-pictured subject entered the gated area and removed several bags. The suspect then met up with an accomplice outside the gated area, emptied the bags, and took the keys to two vehicles, which they removed from the property.

Detectives believe the above-pictured subject committed additional auto thefts at this location. Investigators also believe the suspect frequents the Faubourg Lafitte Neighborhood.

The suspect is described as a black male with medium-brown skin and medium-length dreadlocks with gold/blonde tips. He is believed to be in his early to mid-20s.

The subject is still believed to have a White Toyota CHR bearing Louisiana license plate #959CVW.

If you know the identity of this subject or his whereabouts, please notify First District Detectives at 504-658-6010 or Crimestoppers anonymously at 504-822-1111.
