NOPD Seeking Subject Who Removed Court-Ordered Ankle Monitor

The NOPD has issued an arrest warrant for Romaley Loring, Black male DOB: 6-13-1997 for tampering with electronic monitoring equipment.

Assured Supervision Accountability Program (ASAP) received a notification of 'tampering' from an ankle monitor registered to Romaley on January 24, 2024 at about 7:03 p.m.

ASAP officials later located the ankle monitor and observed the strap to be cut. They could not locate Loring.

NOPD was notified and has issued an arrest warrant for Loring for tampering with electronic monitoring equipment.

Loring was initially arrested in September of 2023 in the 300 block of Royal Street for Illegally carrying a gun.

NOPD officers are actively searching for Loring. No further information is available.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Seventh District detectives at (504) 658-6070 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.

All persons are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
